Can you beat a mallu..?

Once upon a time in the small state of Kerala, before the Indian independence, This British man, who are touted as the world’s hard drinkers came into a കള്ള് ഷാപ്പ് ( a Toddy shop a.k.a A BAR). He shouted to all the drinkers in there, “I hear you Mallus are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give £500 British Pounds to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of ചാരായം (Arrack) back-to-back." The room is quiet, and no one takes up the Brits offer.കുട്ടപന്‍ ചേട്ടന്‍ (Kuttapan brother) even leaves. Thirty minutes later the same Kuttapan who left shows up and taps the Brit on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?" asks Kuttapan.The Brit says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Arrack. Immediately the Kuttapan tears into all 10 of the pint glasses, drinking them all back-to-back.The other pub patrons cheer as the Brit sits in amazement.The Brit gives Kuttapan the £500 and says, "If ya don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?"Kuttapan replies, "Oh... I had to go to the next toddy shop down the street to see if I could do it first."
P.S: Inspired by the true story of Sir.Kuttapan Chettan who used get drunk and come to my house. There is a true rumor that Kuttapan Chettan’s father was a freedom fighter who made sure that British left our country without taking “Arrack recipes”After note: No British or mallu were drunk during or before writing this blog post. All the members inside the toddy shop including the toddy shop owner മത്തായി ചേട്ടന്‍ (equivalent of Matthew brother) are fictitious, any resemblance to any drunkard is purely coincidental.
